Leeds New Muslims was established in the early 2000s by a group of brothers who were concerned for the welfare of those people taking their shahadah and converting/reverting to Islam.

Today, we are a registered charity (1105229), and the organisation is run by a team of dedicated volunteers of brothers and sisters who have either embraced Islam or who have family members who have embraced Islam and are here to help others on their journey.

We are a support group for those who have converted/reverted to Islam or have an interest in learning more Islam with a view to converting and taking their shahadah.

To aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, not only for converts/reverts to Islam, but also their families and friends too.

We are able to provide help and support in the following areas to anyone in Leeds (UK) and surrounding areas:

Information and advice regarding Islam
Help with becoming a Muslim (Shahadah)
Free prayer mat and books (including Qur’an translation)
Community Iftars (meal to open the fast in Ramadan)
One-on-one support and advice for those new to Islam

Learn how to perform the prayer/salat
Guided visit to a mosque
Social Gatherings
Educational Gatherings
